The Big Names of 2024 NFL Draft: Williams, Daniels, and More, With a Notable Exception
The top three prospects in The Athletic’s most recent 2024 NFL mock draft, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels, will each be in attendance at the Detroit event later this month. These are a few of the 13 players whose attendance the league has verified.
The Athletic’s mock draft projects Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy will be taken No. 4, but McCarthy’s name was not on the list of attendance on Thursday. The number of players anticipated to attend the draft in person, 13, is the lowest since 13 players attended the post-pandemic draft in 2021. The Kansas City draft the previous year drew seventeen players.
The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft takes place on April 25. Rounds 2-3 take place on April 26. Rounds 4–7 take place on April 27.
